Match Commander
What Is It?
Match Commanders are players in a match that can help run the match. They can receive Map Codes, submit Scores, and more. Think of them as Team Captains. This is also what we call them in Tournaments!
Having Match Commanders / Team Captains are the best way to reduce the workload of whoever is running MatchExec. Tournaments with 100s or even 1000s of players can run almost autonomously.
Assigning Match Commanders
When assigning players, You can select the MAP ICON on a player card to make them a match commander. See the map icon top right in the below example.

The exact same applies for Tournaments, just on the Tournament’s assign players page.
How Does it Work?
Players Designated as Match Commanders can receive up to 3 DMs from MatchExec when a map starts.
Match Code

If the game being played supports Match Codes, Match Commanders will get a DM with the code for that Map and the team they are on.
Who Won

The Match Commander can react with an emoji to select the team that won that map. If both sides have picked a winner, and the setting is enabled, the match will auto progress to the next map.
Scorecard Needed

If statistics are enabled in the app and in the Match/Tournament, Match Commanders can submit a screenshot of the scoreboard. Once submitted they will get confirmation.
